The Story
Built From the
Swamp Up
Gator Mud started with a simple frustration. Every clay mask on the market was watered-down, overpromised, and full of ingredients that existed for no reason other than to bulk up the jar. The formulas were weak. The results were mediocre. The branding was forgettable.
So we built something different. Gator Mud is made in Mount Vernon, Washington, by Cypress & Ash Apothecary — a small-batch, ingredient-first brand that believes every single component in a formula should earn its place. We don't add anything to fill space. We don't cut active ingredients to save on cost. We don't water it down and hope you don't notice.
The formula uses apple cider vinegar as its primary carrier — an approach that's essentially unheard of in commercial clay masks — which activates the bentonite at a level nothing else achieves. The result is a mask that hits harder, cracks deeper, and delivers results you can see and feel from the very first use.
Cypress & Ash Apothecary was built on the premise that small-batch, transparent formulation is better than anything you'll find on a big box shelf. Gator Mud is the proof. Every jar is mixed by hand. Every ingredient is there for a reason. And the results are not subtle.
Apply it dark. Watch it crack. Emerge cleaner than you went in.
